Critical Care Medicine

Overview

Critical care is provided to patients who need immediate treatment for life-threatening conditions, including trauma, burns, organ and respiratory failure, sepsis and poisoning. The Critical Care Unit has specialized intensive care units where patients are monitored continuously. Laboratory, diagnostic and radiology services are available round the clock. The units follow established safety norms and maintain a strong audit culture.

Experienced critical care staff, including specialists, nurses, pulmonologists and therapists, provide round-the-clock care. They use advanced diagnostic, monitoring and treatment technology to restore organ function and treat the underlying illness.
