Medical Camp Cardiology
DSMCH conducted a two-day cardiology camp on September 20 and 21, 2025 at Barpeta Road, Assam, in association with Sonakshi Hospital. More than 140 patients benefited from free ECG and echocardiogram tests. Dr. Ganesh, Professor and Head of Cardiology, provided expert consultations and treatment guidance.
As specialty care is limited in the region, patients from Assam often travel to hospitals in Tamil Nadu. This partnership began at the request of Sonakshi Hospital, to bring advanced cardiac care to the local community.
